Titan Sees Stronger Second Half on Festive Demand and Favorable Product Mix
Titan Company's managing director Ajoy Chawla said that despite uncertainty around gold prices, demand for jewelry has remained good in the July-September quarter of 2026 (Q2FY27). The company expects a stronger second half as festive demand and a favourable product mix support margins.
Chawla attributed the strong first half to the benefit of the base effect from last year's soft first half. He also noted that gold prices, stable or lower, would contribute to higher gross margins for studded jewelry in the second half.
Titan reported a 24.3% year-on-year rise in revenue to ₹18,101 crore and a 57.1% jump in EBITDA to ₹2,564 crore in Q1FY27. The company's international Tanishq business has been robust, with demand growing 130% in the quarter.
