TotalEnergies and AMNI Finalize $600 Million Ima Gas Field Project in Nigeria
TotalEnergies and its partner AMNI have finalized their $600 million investment in the Ima offshore gas field project in Nigeria.
The project, which is expected to start producing 350 million cubic feet of gas per day by 2028, will supply about one-third of the gas needed for Nigeria LNG's Train 7 expansion.
TotalEnergies will operate the project with a 40% interest, while AMNI holds 60%. The development is expected to use a simplified platform, receive electricity from shore, and operate without routine flaring, making it a relatively low-cost and low-emissions gas project.
