TotalEnergies has struck a deal to acquire a 30% operated stake in Malaysia’s Lang Lebah and B14 gas fields, which together hold over 6.5 trillion cubic feet of resources. The transaction is pending regulatory approval and final closing.
The energy giant is also ramping up its renewable investments in the U.S., snapping up wind projects from developers looking to exit. The company is racing to complete construction on these projects to qualify for federal tax credits before they expire.
In another major move, TotalEnergies SE (TTE) has signed a five-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement with ADNOC Gas. The deal covers up to 1.6 million tonnes of LNG, with deliveries set to begin this year.
