TotalEnergies Pledges $14-17 Billion to Boost Energy Output Amid Iran Conflict
TotalEnergies has announced plans to increase its energy production and LNG sales over the next five years, investing between $14-17 billion annually from 2027 to 2032. This move comes amid a global market constrained by the ongoing conflict in Iran.
The company aims to boost oil and gas output by more than 3% through this investment, which is crucial considering the potential shortfalls caused by the war in the Middle East. The Iran conflict has been dragging on for some time, with no signs of resolution, leading to concerns about energy supply disruptions.
