TotalEnergies, the global oil and gas giant, saw its shares climb approximately 2% to $88.08 as Brent crude prices broke above $90 on Monday. The company's strong cash generation helped it weather Middle Eastern disruptions that erased an average of 210,000 barrels of oil-equivalent production per day during the second quarter.

TotalEnergies generated a substantial $9.8 billion in cash flow and $6 billion in adjusted net income during the second quarter, while also cutting its gearing to 13% and increasing its quarterly dividend by 5.9% to €0.90 per share. This strong financial performance has investors paying a premium for the company's earnings power, with shares trading at 38.69% above the $63.51 GF Value estimate.

The next leg up in oil prices will depend on restoring lost production while keeping the pricing windfall, highlighting the importance of maintaining operations despite disruptions.
