TotalEnergies Unveils Ambitious Growth Strategy Through 2035
TotalEnergies has outlined its ambitious growth strategy through 2030 and beyond. The French energy major plans to increase oil, gas, and electricity production by 4% annually over the next five years while generating an additional $10 billion in free cash flow compared to 2025.
The company expects its Integrated Power division to break even on free cash flow in 2026 and become cash-flow positive in 2027. By 2030, electricity generation is targeted to reach between 100 terawatt-hours and 120 TWh per year, accounting for roughly 20% of TotalEnergies' energy mix.
TotalEnergies is also extending its growth ambitions beyond the end of the decade. The company plans to maintain oil and gas production at around 3 million barrels of oil equivalent per day through 2035, with electricity generation increasing by another 10-12 TWh annually during that period.
