Tripartite Defense Pact Signed by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan
Saudi Arabia and Turkey have strengthened their defense partnership by signing an agreement with Pakistan to enhance collective deterrence against any act of aggression.
The agreement, signed during a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Mecca, defines any armed attack against one of the three states as an attack against all three.
This move comes at a time when security concerns are growing in the region, with Saudi Arabia's critical infrastructure and oil facilities under attack. The agreement also paves the way for joint military exercises and training, technology transfers, and intelligence sharing among the three countries.
