Trump Plans November Bombing Run as US Deploys More Troops to Mideast
Oil prices surged on Thursday after reports emerged that the US is sending more troops to the Middle East and President Donald Trump plans to resume bombing Iran in November.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the US will deploy a third aircraft-carrier strike group, adding between 9,000 and 10,000 more troops to the region by the end of November. Trump told his aides he expects to resume strikes on Iran that same month.
'They'll either sign a very fair deal or they won't exist any longer,' Trump said in comments to reporters.
