Trump Points Fingers at Iran for Saudi Oil Pipeline Drone Attack

US President Donald Trump has pointed to Iran as the likely perpetrator behind the recent drone attack on Saudi Arabia's vital oil pipeline.

The East-West pipeline, which extends from eastern Saudi Arabia to the Yanbu port in the west, was targeted by several drones coming from Iraq on September 10.

The attack resulted in a few injuries and partial damage to the infrastructure, prompting operations on the pipeline to be temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure to secure oil supplies.

Trump made his statement during a visit to Ireland, where he was responding to a reporter's question about the incident.
