Trump Predicts Brief Iran Conflict, Says Situation 'Working Out Very Well'
US President Donald Trump spoke to journalists at the White House before his departure on Marine One, addressing the ongoing situation in Iran. When questioned about his plans for the country, Trump remained tight-lipped but expressed confidence that the conflict would be brief.
'That's very, oh, it's -- well, if I told you, you'd have a major story, right? But you'll see. Working out very well. Iran is not doing well,' Trump said, adding that oil prices would likely return to their previous levels once the situation concludes.
Trump also touched on global energy supplies, stating that Europe has been releasing additional diesel into the market in response to his appeals for increased distribution. He noted that European nations are capable of meeting this demand due to their high regional usage of diesel fuel.
