Trump Rejects Iranian Proposal, Crude Oil Futures Rebound Amid Supply Concerns
Crude oil futures rose on September 28 after US President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end fighting in the Middle East.
The move came after Trump said on September 26 that he had rejected the proposal, citing concerns over early sanctions relief and release of frozen assets.
Brent crude futures rose $1.82, or 1.74%, to $106.14 a barrel, while US WTI crude futures gained $1.14, or 1.23%, to $93.55.
