President Donald Trump has criticized big oil companies, specifically Exxon and Chevron, for making 'too much money' during wartime. According to ABC, both companies reported significant profits due to the Iran War affecting oil prices. Chevron made $12 billion in profits over three months ending in June, while Exxon reported profits of $14.5 billion within the same period. This is a stark increase from last year's figures, with Chevron profiting nearly 400% more.

Trump urged these companies to cut retail fuel prices, accusing them of making prices high during wartime. 'They're making too much money,' he said. 'You're surprised? I'm saying it. I'll say it loud and clear.' Trump's comments come as the oil industry continues to reap benefits from the ongoing conflict in Iran.
