US President Donald Trump made seven consecutive social media posts targeting Iran's economy within an hour on Sunday. The posts included graphics and maps, aiming to show Iran's weak economy, declining oil exports, and weakening currency. One of the most striking images was an AI-generated picture showing oil facilities being bombed at Kharg Island, with the words 'Bye-bye Kharg'.

The graphic about Iran's oil exports claimed that exports had fallen from around 2 million barrels per day at the beginning of 2025 to nearly zero in 2026. Another graphic showed that one US dollar was worth over 2.27 million Iranian rials, highlighting the falling value of the currency.

The posts also included a map of Iran with Trump's picture superimposed on it, along with a statement calling Iran a 'falling nation'. The President claimed that Iran's economy and state system are weakening severely and that the government is failing to handle the situation.
