Trump Vows to Replenish US Oil Reserve Amid Potential Iran Strikes
US President Donald Trump has spoken about his administration's actions against Iran in an interview with Time magazine. According to Trump, Washington's efforts have contributed to establishing peace in the region, but he also acknowledged that airstrikes against the country may resume after the midterm elections in November.
Trump discussed the state of American ammunition stocks and admitted that certain types had decreased. To address this issue, new agreements are being concluded with defense companies to replenish stockpiles.
The US President also touched on energy policy, stating that his administration intends to start replenishing the Strategic Oil Reserve in the near future. This move comes after a significant amount of oil was previously withdrawn from storage facilities, leaving the reserve at its lowest level since 1982, with around 284 million barrels.
