Wall Street's main stock indexes opened lower on Thursday as tensions in the Middle East caused oil prices to rise and Treasury yields to increase.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 95.8 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 51,415.75.

The S&P 500 dropped 39.0 points, or 0.51%, at the opening bell to 7,666.99.

Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite lost 201.5 points, or 0.75%, to 26,734.508.

Investors were cautious ahead of a highly anticipated summit between Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping.
