Trump-Xi Summit Sparks U.S. Grain Price Rally Amid Ongoing Ukraine Conflict
U.S. grain futures rallied on Monday ahead of the planned meeting between President Trump and China's Xi Jinping, according to the Teucrium Corn Fund ETF (CORN), C_1:COM.
The rally was driven by hopes that the meeting would result in Chinese commitments to buying U.S. grains, following initial trade talks described as 'positive' by both sides.
However, continued Russia-Ukraine fighting has also been a concern for grain prices, which have been volatile in recent weeks.
