TRX Gold Shatters Quarterly Output Record with 28% YoY Increase
Tanzanian Royalty Exploration (TRX Gold) has reported record gold output for Q4 2026, exceeding its guidance range. The company produced 8,173 ounces in the quarter, a 28% year-over-year increase.
The strong results were driven by higher realized gold prices and upgrades to the existing processing plant at Buckreef. New equipment has improved throughput, recoveries, and production.
In addition to upgrading its current facility, TRX Gold is also advancing a major expansion project. A new 3,500 tpd SAG/Ball mill will be completed within the next 12-18 months, boosting annual output above 62,000 ounces.
