TTF Prices Slip Despite Ongoing Challenges to European Gas Supplies

Natural gas prices at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) have dipped in recent days, settling near $24.64/MMBtu on Monday, down from $26.66 on Thursday and roughly $28 at last week's peak.

This drop comes despite low European storage levels and ongoing maintenance at US LNG facilities, which could put upward pressure on prices as winter approaches.

In Europe, natural gas storage is currently 70.1% full, about 176 TWh below the five-year average, according to Gas Infrastructure Europe and NGI calculations.
