Turkey's Natural Gas Market Sees Sharp Trade Volume Decline

Turkey's spot natural gas market experienced a significant decrease in trade volume on Monday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade volume dropped by 89.1% to around 1.5 million liras, compared to Sunday's amount of about 13.7 million liras.

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market also remained high at 17,279 Turkish liras. Meanwhile, the cumulative natural gas trade volume reached around 87,000 cubic meters.

Turkey received approximately 108.95 million cubic meters of natural gas on Monday.
