Turkish Fruit and Veg Exports Soar to Russia Amid Trade Surge

Turkey has increased its supply of fruits and vegetables to Russia by 8.3% in the first eight months of this year compared to all of last year, according to data from Argus-Phyto.

The total volume of Turkish exports to Russia reached 524.8 thousand tons, a significant increase from the same period in 2025.

The main driver of growth was the supply of fruits, with shipments of tangerines jumping by 39.2% to 224.3 thousand tons and nectarines increasing by 2.6 times to 62.6 thousand tons.

Russia is also increasing its agricultural exports to Turkey, with domestic barley shipments rising 12.3 times year-on-year and wheat exports up 1.9 times in the first half of this year.
