Turkish Natural Gas Market Experiences 18.1% Drop in Trade Volume

The spot natural gas market in Turkey experienced a decrease of 18.1% in trade volume on Thursday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade volume dropped to around 11.5 million liras, down from about 14.0 million liras on Wednesday.

The price of natural gas remained steady, with 1,000 cubic meters costing 17,426.44 Turkish liras. The cumulative natural gas trade volume for the day was approximately 658,000 cubic meters.

Turkey received about 103.48 million cubic meters of natural gas on Thursday.
