Turkish Natural Gas Spot Market Sees 3.5% Increase in Trade Volume

The spot market for natural gas in Turkey experienced a slight increase on Tuesday, July 28. According to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the total trade volume rose by 3.5% to approximately 13.5 million liras compared to Monday's figure of about 13.07 million liras.

The price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on Tuesday's spot market was 17,560.20 Turkish liras, while the cumulative trade volume reached around 770,000 cubic meters.

Turkey received approximately 80.18 million cubic meters on Tuesday, and the exchange rate at the time was US$1 equals 47.39 liras.
