Turkish Spot Natural Gas Trade Volume Surges 18.5%
Turkey's spot natural gas market saw an increase in trade volume on Wednesday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The trade volume rose by 18.5% to around 5.38 million liras.
Comparing this to Tuesday's figure of about 4.54 million liras, it is clear that activity in the spot market was higher on Wednesday.
The price of natural gas on the spot market remained steady at 17,758.12 Turkish liras per 1,000 cubic meters.
