Türkiye Sees 12.9% Decline in Oil Imports Amid Rising Domestic Sales

Türkiye's total oil imports declined by 12.9% year-on-year in June, according to data from the country's energy regulator.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) reported that crude oil imports, the largest component of total oil imports, fell 9.1% year-on-year to 2.66 million tons.

Diesel imports declined 24.3% to 913,254 tons, while other petroleum products made up the remainder of imports.

Russia remained Türkiye's top supplier of crude oil and petroleum products in June, accounting for 37.8% of total imports, with 1.52 million tons imported.
