Türkiye's Spot Natural Gas Trade Volume Surges 44.9% on Thursday

The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market experienced a significant increase of 44.9% to around 7.8 million liras on Thursday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). This surge in trade volume marks a substantial jump from Wednesday's total of about 5.4 million liras.

The spot market for natural gas saw 1,000 cubic meters being sold at a price of 17,796.55 Turkish liras on Thursday. The cumulative natural gas trade volume reached around 438,000 cubic meters during this period.

Türkiye received approximately 106.28 million cubic meters of natural gas on Thursday, as reported by the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST).
