Turkmenistan's Gamyshlyjanebit Exceeds Oil Production Target by 9.5%
Turkmenistan's Gamyshlyjanebit Oil and Gas Production Department has exceeded its oil production target by 9.5% since the beginning of the year, producing over 461,300 tons.
This achievement was reported by Turkmennebit in a press release on September 15, which stated that specialists at Gamyshlyjanebit have fulfilled their plan by 109.5 percent. The collective is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence with this labor gift.
Gamyshlyjanebit operates in the Esenguly district of Turkmenistan's Balkan region and develops several oil fields, including Ekerem, Gamyshlyja, Shatut, and Altyguyy. The Balkan region remains the country's main oil-producing area.
The recent production increase is part of Turkmenistan's ongoing efforts to implement its oil and gas industry development program through 2030, which involves increasing output at mature fields while commissioning new wells and rehabilitating existing ones.
