Twaik Group Eyes Energy Investment Opportunities in Sudan
The Sudanese Minister of Energy, Engineer and Adviser Al-Mu'tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, welcomed Saudi Arabia's Twaik Group to invest in Sudan's energy sector.
The meeting between the minister and a delegation from Twaik Group took place in Khartoum on Sunday. The delegation was led by Sheikh Sultan Al-Anzi, the Executive Director of Twaik Group and representative of its Chairman, Sheikh Twaik bin Maq'ad Al-Otaibi.
The group presented its capabilities and experience across various sectors, including oil and gas, contracting, infrastructure, real estate, mining, and industrial assets. The company's involvement in the Amar United Company, which operates in the oil and gas and refinery sectors, strengthens prospects for cooperation and investment in Sudan's oil and energy sector.
The minister highlighted Sudan's promising investment opportunities in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas, refining, petroleum services, and energy infrastructure. He expressed the ministry's readiness to provide necessary facilities to investors and work on developing partnerships that contribute to supporting the national economy and strengthening Sudanese-Saudi cooperation.
