U.S. Grain Prices Fall as Harvest Accelerates
U.S. grain prices are under pressure as the harvest accelerates, with corn futures declining for the fifth session in a row.
The national average cash corn price is estimated to be around $4.915 per bushel, roughly 45 cents below December futures.
The USDA's latest Crop Progress data showed that 13% of the U.S. corn crop has been harvested as of September 20, up from 8% the previous week and ahead of the five-year average of 11%.
