U.S. Mint Unveils New Semiquincentennial Products in August

The U.S. Mint is releasing a new slate of Semiquincentennial products in August, including enhanced uncirculated Morgan and Peace silver dollars.

On August 3, the Comic Art Three Medal Set will be available, featuring Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman on copper-nickel medals with a matte finish. The set has no mintage or product limits and can be purchased for $130.

The Best of the Mint series continues with two new releases: the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set on August 6, and the 1804 Silver Dollar Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set on August 27. The first set is limited to 30,000 units and priced at $2,775, while the second set's price has not been announced.

The U.S. Mint will also release the fourth Semiquincentennial quarter design on August 26, which honors the U.S. Constitution. This one-year-only design follows the Mayflower Compact, Revolutionary War, and Declaration of Independence quarters released earlier in the year.
