UAE Foils Iran's Strait of Hormuz Disruption Tactics

The UAE has found ways to counter Iran's strategy to disrupt oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian state television analysts.

Four people appeared on IRIB's Be Vaght-e-Iran (Iran Time) program and discussed how Abu Dhabi adapted its oil shipments in response to Iran's approach to the strategic waterway.

The participants noted that Iran could target smaller shuttle vessels moving through the strait or strike their point of origin, but one analyst rejected this approach as insufficient, stating 'It makes no sense to just hit these vessels. That is not an adequate response to this change in logic.'
