UAE Gold Prices Plummet Below AED 500 Per Gram
Gold prices in the UAE have taken another hit, with 24-karat gold falling below AED 500 per gram for the first time. This decline comes as global gold prices stabilize near their lowest levels in over seven weeks.
The price of 24-karat gold dropped to AED 497.25 per gram from AED 505.50 yesterday, a decrease of AED 8.25. The other types of gold also saw declines, with 22-karat falling to AED 460.50 per gram, 21-karat to AED 441.50, and 18-karat to AED 378.50.
Silver prices were also affected, dropping to AED 7.16 per gram, while an ounce of silver was priced at approximately AED 222.72. The price of a kilogram of silver decreased to AED 7,160.61.
