UAE Gold Prices Plummet by Up to Dh11 per Gram
Gold prices in the UAE have taken a significant dip, plummeting by up to Dh11 per gram over the past week. This price drop has sparked renewed interest in gold bullion among investors and buyers, who are taking advantage of lower costs to purchase gold bars.
Retailers such as Riki Gold and Jewellery Trading, Daimer Gold and Jewellery Trading, and Masho Gold and Jewellery Trading have reported a surge in demand for gold bars across various weights and denominations. The decline in prices has created a positive market sentiment, with many customers viewing bullion as an investment and savings vehicle.
According to the latest price indicators published in Dubai and Sharjah, 24-carat gold fell to Dh516.50 per gram, down by Dh11.25 from last week's prices. Meanwhile, other categories such as 22-carat, 21-carat, 18-carat, and 14-carat gold also saw significant price drops.
Market experts believe that the recent decline in gold prices may be a temporary phenomenon, with many predicting further gains for gold over the longer term. As a result, investors are capitalizing on lower prices to buy bullion and secure potential long-term returns.
