The UK has added 19 new targets to its sanctions list against Russia, including 13 individuals and entities, as well as six vessels accused of transporting Russian oil and liquefied natural gas.

The sanctions were imposed under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, with the aim of restricting Russia's energy sector operations in Ukraine.

Six Russian financial institutions have been targeted with asset freezes, trust services restrictions, and director disqualification sanctions. These banks include Ozon Bank, Russian Export-Import Bank, Center-Invest Bank, Realist Bank, Bank Stavr, and Teleport Bank.

The UK has also prohibited its financial institutions from maintaining correspondent banking relationships with these listed banks or processing payments to, from, or through them.
