Ukraine's Ministry of Economy and Environment has increased the minimum permitted export price for corn to $195 per tonne, effective from September. This move is part of the country's export security regime, which also covers wheat, barley, rye, oats, soybeans, rapeseed, and sunflower seed.

The new prices represent a significant increase from August, when the minimum permitted price for corn was $119 per tonne. The price hike is reflected in all delivery terms, including CPT (cost and freight paid), DAP (delivered at place), and FOB (free on board).

For corn specifically, the indicative levels have been revised to reflect a 64% month-on-month increase. In comparison, wheat and barley prices were raised by smaller margins of around 20%. The updated export security regime will remain in force throughout September for relevant products.
