Ukraine Extends Gas Price Freeze Until 2027
Ukraine's Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that gas prices for Ukrainians will remain unchanged throughout the autumn-winter period. This decision is a result of the government extending special obligations on the natural gas market until March 31, 2027.
The extension of these obligations is expected to help preserve preferential tariffs for heat supply enterprises and extend the terms for sales to companies in gas distribution systems. Enterprises will be able to purchase gas at reduced prices, including for frontline territories.
