Ukraine's grain farms are facing significant financial risks due to export restrictions imposed by Russia's attacks. According to Pavlo Koval, General Director of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC), over the next six to twelve months, producers may lose $2-4 billion with up to 60% of grain farms operating at a loss.

The most acute risks are expected in autumn when logistical problems could escalate into a credit and production crisis. The restrictions on sea exports have already led to temporarily blocked revenue, decreased producer prices, and final economic losses for the Ukrainian agro sector.
