Ukraine Hits Russian Oil Refinery with Long-Range Strike
Ukraine's Security Service has carried out a long-range strike against one of Russia's largest oil refineries, located over 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border in the Perm region.
The refinery, operated by Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, has an annual processing capacity of nearly 13 million tons of crude oil and supplies fuel to both Russia's civilian market and its armed forces.
According to preliminary assessments, the strike ignited the refinery's primary crude oil processing unit, which can disrupt production for extended periods due to its critical role in refining.
