Ukraine Resumes Drone Attacks on Russian Refineries
The Ukraine has resumed its drone attacks on Russian refineries, striking one of Russia's biggest refineries, Lukoil's Volgograd processing facility.
The refinery has a capacity to process 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude and produces gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.
This is not the first time the Volgograd refinery has been targeted; earlier this year, it had to suspend crude oil processing after a Ukrainian drone attack triggered a fire at the plant.
Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said last weekend that the fuel crisis in Russia was starting to ease as some refineries have restarted operations.
