Ukraine Wheat Prices Fall Amid Logistics Woes

Ukrainian wheat prices have declined due to rising logistics costs and transportation delays. Rail wagons at crossings toward Poland and Romania can wait for 2-3 weeks, while queues at the Port of Constanța have increased.

The current price range is $245-250/t, down from previous levels. Ukraine's wheat exports are also well below last year's level, with shipments reaching 652 thsd tons in the first 21 days of September versus 1.52 mln tons a year earlier.

Feed wheat prices have fallen to UAH 5.3-5.8 thsd/t due to weak exporter demand and expectations of higher corn supplies.
