As Ukraine prepares for the upcoming heating season, residents are bracing themselves for rising utility expenses. According to recent reports, household consumers will not have to pay more for natural gas in October, with prices remaining unchanged.

The current gas price ranges from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter, depending on the supplier. Customers of 'Naftogaz,' which serves the vast majority of Ukrainian households, will continue to pay 7.96 UAH per cubic metre. The company's basic annual tariff is fixed until April 30, 2027.

Other suppliers charge varying prices, with some customers paying as much as 9.99 UAH per cubic meter. It's worth noting that Ukrainians' gas expenses are not limited to payment for the actually consumed resource; households also receive a separate bill for gas distribution each month.
