Ukraine's Grain Exports Stall in August
Ukraine has reported its grain export figures for August, showing that only 280 thousand tons of grains and leguminous crops were shipped in the month. This is according to data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine, which was referenced by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
The total grain exports since the beginning of the 2026/27 marketing year have reached 2.952 million tons, with August's figure making up a small portion of that number. In comparison to last year, the export figures for this time are lower, with a total of 2.818 million tons shipped as of August 15.
The breakdown of grain exports by crop shows that wheat has been the largest exported crop, with 1.239 million tons shipped since the start of the season. Barley and corn have also seen significant exports, with 333 thousand and 1.376 million tons respectively. Ukrainian flour exports have totaled 2.8 thousand tons as of August 12.
