Ukrainian Strikes on Grain Terminals Send Global Food Prices Soaring
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claims that Ukrainian strikes on Russian grain and agricultural infrastructure are causing global food prices to rise.
The strikes, which targeted major grain terminals in Novorossiysk's Black Sea port, have disrupted seaborne exports and led to a 2.4% increase in wheat futures prices.
Zakharova stated that the attacks are exacerbating grain shortages and increasing the burden on countries in the Global South and East.
