US Blocks Israeli Strikes on Iranian Energy Targets Amid Global Economic Concerns

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed that the US is blocking Israeli strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure due to global economic and energy stability concerns. According to Katz, Tel Aviv desires to target these facilities but Washington has withheld its approval at this stage.

The US fears that an explicit strike on Iranian energy facilities would cause Tehran to lash out at neighboring Gulf states, triggering a massive, global oil crisis. This concern stems from worries about the impact of disrupting Iran's energy grid and the potential retaliation by Tehran against regional countries.

Katz emphasized Israel's military readiness, stating that Israeli forces are fully prepared to 'set Iran back 40 years'. He noted that despite respecting current US diplomatic channels, he has instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to maintain plans for an independent operation. If Iran launches a direct missile strike toward Israeli territory, Israel warns it will completely bypass US restrictions and hit Iran with crushing force.
