US Commodity Markets Close: Corn and Soybeans Fall
US commodity markets closed on Thursday, July 30th for the day. The Chicago Board of Trade reported that Corn Futures prices fell in both September and December, down by 3 cents to $4.45 and $4.68 respectively.
Soybean Futures also declined, with September dropping 4 cents to $11.71 and November falling 4 cents to $11.88 per bushel. Wheat Futures saw an increase, however, with September rising 2 cents to $6.63 and December going up by 3 cents to $6.81.
In the Live Cattle Futures market, October and December contracts both rose significantly: October went up 347 cents to $227.45 per hundredweight, while December increased by 337 cents to $226.70.
Feeder Cattle Futures also saw gains, with September rising 395 cents to $342.60 and October going up by 452 cents to $334.15.
