US Crude and Gasoline Inventories Fall, Distillate Stockpiles Rise

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that crude oil and gasoline stockpiles declined last week, while distillate inventories rose.

Crude inventories fell by 8.3 million barrels to 418.2 million barrels in the week ending June 12, exceeding analysts' expectations of a 4.6 million-barrel draw.

Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub decreased by 1.6 million barrels during the same period.
