US Crude Oil Inventories Plummet by 7.2 Million Barrels
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has released new data showing a significant drop in U.S. crude oil inventories, exceeding market expectations.
According to the EIA, inventories decreased by a substantial 7.167 million barrels, far surpassing the forecasted increase of 0.700 million barrels.
This sharp decline suggests that demand for crude oil is higher than anticipated or that there are disruptions in supply, potentially leading to a bullish trend in crude prices.
The current data marks a significant turnaround from the previous week's figures, where inventories rose by 2.010 million barrels, indicating a shift in market dynamics.
