US Enacts New Sanctions Legislation on Russian and Iranian Oil
The US State Department has confirmed that the newly enacted sanctions legislation concerning Russian and Iranian oil gives President Donald Trump 'additional options' to deal with the conflict.
The legislation, referred to as the Graham Sanctions Bill, was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump, providing him with more flexibility in dealing with the issue of Russian and Iranian oil.
In a statement, US State Department spokesperson Bilal Faruqi emphasized that ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict remains a key priority for the Trump administration.
