US Energy Production Hits Record High Under Trump's Policies
US Energy Secretary Chris Wright recently announced that American oil and gas workers have driven production to an all-time high, making the US the world's largest producer of oil and natural gas. This achievement is attributed to President Donald Trump's energy policies, which have strengthened domestic production and reduced costs.
In a post on X, Wright credited the president's agenda for unleashing American energy, strengthening the economy, and lowering costs. He also highlighted the US Navy's role in supporting the movement of energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, where more than 15 million barrels of oil and petroleum products were moved with assistance from the US military on Tuesday.
The seven-day average of oil leaving the Strait had risen above 8 million barrels per day, according to Wright. This development comes amid tensions over energy supplies and diplomatic efforts to resolve issues between Washington and Tehran.
