US Escort Leads to Slight Stabilization in Oil Prices
The ongoing military situation in the Middle East remains tense, influencing oil prices on global energy markets.
In recent days, oil prices have increased compared to previous periods. The price of Brent crude rose by $3.18 to $87.27 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange, while Light crude increased by $2.76 to $82.02 per barrel.
The stabilization of oil prices is attributed to the passage of five vessels through the Strait of Hormuz with assistance from the U.S. Navy. Two of these vessels were crude oil tankers.
However, analysts believe that some of the oil transported from the Middle East with US military assistance has been delivered directly to buyers under existing orders rather than being traded on exchanges. This would be a costly operation for any major oil refinery.
