US Grains & BioProducts Council Hosts Japan Corn Industry Tour
The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) recently organized an industry tour for representatives from Japan's corn food and feed sector to showcase the US corn value chain.
The delegation visited various sites in Iowa, including ADM's river terminal in Burlington, where they learned about the transportation of U.S. agricultural products for export.
The group also toured two ethanol plants and a farm to gain insight into U.S. corn production and processing.
A highlight of the tour was visiting Iowa State University's Kent Feed Mill, where participants observed how U.S. corn is incorporated into feed formulas to maximize nutritional content.
